Vi tar en gemensam titt på nytillkomna features i de senare versionerna av Umbraco. Bland annat de stora förändringar som nya HybridCache-implementationen innebär för hur vi hämtar och travarserar content och media.

Vi tar också en titt på Block Level Variants och den nya rich text editorn TipTap som ersätter TinyMCE i Umbraco 16.

In this talk, we’ll walk through the essential upgrade path from Umbraco 8 to 13 LTS via 10, exploring the shift from .NET Framework to .NET Core, key code changes (like Nested Content to Block List), and handy tools like uSync Migrations and GitKraken Worktrees. We’ll also dive into why Umbraco 13 LTS is the sweet spot for stability—supported until 2026 with broad package compatibility—versus the cutting-edge Umbraco 15 STS. Then, we’ll map out the next step: upgrading from 13 to 15, tackling .NET 9, and any features plus breaking changes you need to be aware of.
